It is not customary for a head of state to visit an art gallery; however, back in June 2013 the President of Iceland, Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, on the occasion of a state visit to Germany, visited Studio Eliasson in Berlin. The studio is owned and operated by the renowned artist Olafur Eliasson.
